Richard A. Hartzel Sr., age 85, of Brookfield. Navy Veteran of WWII. Master Mason 3rd Degree, Sunrise Lodge # 996 in Westchester and member of the Scottish Rite in Chicago and Dobrovsky Club. Beloved husband of Catherine "Kitty" nee Preucil; loving father of Richard Jr. (Nyla), Joseph and Catherine Schultz; dear grandfather of Britt and Haley Hartzel and Matthew Schultz; fond brother of the late Joseph Jr., Robert and Lewis; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donation to the Alzheimer's Association appreciated. Funeral Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Linhart Funeral Home, 6820 W. Cermak Rd., Berwyn. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
