Dear grandmother of Stephen, Christa and David Tillman & Christian, Kira, Cory and Jaylynn Goetz. Fond sister of Dot Rodgers Visitation is at Leonard Memorial Home 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn on Thursday, August 29, 2013, from 4:00-8:00pm. Tall and stately, beautiful.
A godly woman she.
This widowed mother raised two ...kids
with eyes of faith to see
a world in need of what they had,
a church with much to give,
a home that welcomed anyone
and goals for which to live.

Rho Tillman taught with confidence.
Her grateful students knew
that concepts learned are more than facts.
The proof's in what you do.
Her brilliant mind is whole once more.
Her earthly race is run.
She fought the fight and kept the faith
and heard Christ say, “Well done!”

May the Lord bless and keep you Kurt and Jana as well as your precious families. Your mom touched so many lives and let her light shine for His glory - Brightly beams our Father's mercy From His lighthouse evermore; But to us He gives the keeping Of the lights along the shore. Thank-you Aunt Rho for keeping the faith and letting your light so shine.

Kurt and Jana~
Your mom was the sweetest, kindest lady. Gentle. Kind. But, truth be told, she did have one fault. She couldn't teach me to sew. Not a stitch. In fact, I dare say my lack of skills in her junior high sewing class may have led her to an occasional mid-day nip. Thank heavens she never let her disappointment show; she forever greeted me with that same Pleasant Avenue smile -- even years later when the Tillmans and Hilts were no longer neighbors.
Yup, your mom was a special one, and we are all so lucky to have had our time with her. And while I know this is a difficult time for you and your families, "if we knew the joy she was experiencing right now, we would not ~should not~ wish her back. Not for a day. Not even for five minutes."

Hugs from me to you.

Rho was a special Christian lady who was a joy to work with at Hadley. I remember her gracious spirit and kindness which affected all the lives that she touched. No more suffering as she is with her Lord and Saviour. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Your Mom was very highly thought of on the Junior High staff. I know that all the really joyous and wonderful things that you shared with her will be a continuous source of peace and joy in your lives. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Aloha.. Pat Aldred
