age 83, of Dayton Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2007. He was born in Topeka Kansas and was a resident of Dayton Ohio for 34 years. He was a faithful member of Cannon Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the U. S. Army and was retired from the U. S. Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Marjorie Blackwell, parents, Richard & Mildred Blackwell, two brothers, seven sisters, and one grandchild. He leaves to cherish his memory five sons, Whip (Bellette) Blackwell of Seattle, WA, Anthony (Marilyn) Blackwell of Woodbridge, VA, Raymond Johnny Blackwell of Seattle, WA, Raymond Curtis Blackwell of Daly City, and James John Blackwell of Stockton, CA; CA; three daughters Ramona Blackwell of Loves Park, IL, Candace (Craig) Stevens of Dayton, and Mary Ford of Sacramento, CA; 21 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service, 11:00 AM, Monday, October 8, 2007 at Cannon Missionary Baptist Church, 5191 Hoover Ave, with Pastor Joseph L. Coleman officiating. Interment: Dayton National Cemetery. Viewing 9:00 AM until time of service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church. Ceremonies entrusted to McLIN FUNERAL CHAPEL/NORTHERN HILLS, 2801 N.
