R. Means Obituary
R. Josephine "Jo" Means, age 98, of Plymouth Place, LaGrange Park. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth L. for 73 wonderful years; devoted mother of Richard (Anne Rooney), James (Linda), Dexter (Lynne), and Margaret "Peggy" Newman (James); cherished grandmother of 12; proud great-grandmother of 20; beloved aunt of Merre (John) Putnam and John W. (Ginger) Miller.
Memorial service 9:30am Saturday, May 7, in Dole Hall at Plymouth Place, 315 N. LaGrange Rd., LaGrange Park. A second memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm at the First Congregational Church of Western Springs, 1106 Chestnut St. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Congregational Church of Western Springs or to the Chicago Area Council of Boy Scouts of America, with a special notation for its Scout Reach program serving inner-city youth.
