Phyllis Willis Obituary

Phyllis Jane Willis, 68 years old, of Sterling, Illinois, formerly a resident of Brookfield from 1942 until 1995, passed away October 20, 2010 at the Coventry Living Center in Sterling. A Memorial Visitation will be held of Friday, October 29, 2010 from 6pm until 9pm at Johnson Funeral Home, 3845-47 Prairie Avenue in Brookfield with a Memorial Service at 7:30pm. Cremation private. Phyllis was the co-owner of General Accoustical Engineering Co. in Brookfield. She retired in 1994 after 25 years of service. Phyllis enjoyed bowling, playing golf, fishing and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Curtis P. Willis, whom she married December 6, 1958 at Brookfield Baptist Church; sons, Vance (Sylvia) Willis of LaGrange; Jim (Ruth) Willis of Camden, TN and Jeff (Pam) Willis of Brookfield; brothers, Ray Plumley of Taylor, AZ and the late Jerry Plumley; sister, the late Ora Mae Sondles and 6 grandchildren.
