Peter Graff Obituary

Peter Joseph Graff
Born: February 9, 1952 in Chicago, IL
Died: June 19, 2024 in Lombard, IL
Peter Joseph Graff, 72, of Lombard, IL, passed away on June 19, 2024. Born on February 9, 1952, Peter was known for his vibrant spirit and quick-witted humor, often being described as the life of the party.
He pursued and earned a Bachelor's degree, which led him to a successful career path where he was highly esteemed by his colleagues.
A devout member of Sacred Heart Church in Lombard, Peter was actively involved in his community and cherished by many. His hobbies included carpentry, sports, music, woodburning, and golf, all of which he approached with passion and dedication.
Peter was a beloved family man, survived by his sons, Patrick, Philip, and Peter Graff; his sister, Mary Bozek; and his brother, John Graff. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cecilia Graff, to whom he was married for over 35 years.
A service to celebrate Peter's life will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Lombard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Peter's legacy of joy, dedication, and love will forever be remembered by those who knew him.

I will forever remember his sense of humor and his witty comebacks. In particular, while at an appreciation dinner for Sacred Heart, he changed his name tag each time he left. Another, and my favorite, was the creative costumes he wore during Halloween. He will be so dearly missed.
