Petar Sestan Obituary
Petar Sestan, originally from Croatia and longtime resident of Elmhurst, passed away April 16, 2015, at the age of 82.
Petar was the Beloved Husband of the late Ana; Cherished Father of John (Suzie) Sestan and Maria (Mike) Tooley; Proud Grandfather/"Gedo" of Julie, Theresa, Colleen, Michael, Jessica and Joseph. Devoted Son of the late Terezija and Luka Sestan; Dear Brother of Mila Sestan and Ankica Stefancic, both of Croatia and the late Marica (survived by Mirko) Zosak. Loving Uncle and Cousin to many particularly his nephew, Joe (Barb) Zosak and their children Stephanie and Michael, and friend to many.
Visitation at the Pedersen Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York St., Elmhurst, on Sunday, April 19, 2015, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Monday, April 20, 2015, beginning with prayers at the mortuary at 9:45 a.m. and proceeding to Visitation Catholic Church, Elmhurst, for a Funeral Mass at 10:45 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
