I have found memories of all the Elmhurst College courses that I took with Madame Hatmaker during 1983 - 1987. Towards the end of my B.A., there were few students in the advanced courses, and Madame often held class in her office. It provided a book club atmosphere and was very conducive to some high level literary discussions. I went on to study French Language and Literature at NIU and to this day I use French at work from time to time. Throughout my studies, I feel fortunate to have had several knowledgeable, native speaking teachers with such rich life experiences.

I have fond memories of many vacations in North Carolina and how graciously Paulette accepted me into the family.
We had lots of fun, lively conversations and many adventures in the Outer Banks.
I will always cherish these times with your mother and father).
