Dear Sue, Debbie, and Barb - Although Mema wasn't technically our grandma, you would never know it by the way she treated all 3 of my kids - and how all of us feel about her. We all loved her - we will all miss her. I loved how she always kept herself looking so beautiful - and she a had all the good celebrity gossip! Mema loved traveling and shopping and cared about other people up to the day she died. She had such beautiful blue eyes - and they really did twinkle! It is so impressive that she graduated from U of I - not at all common for a woman back then. She was truly ahead of her time. We will miss her so much - and I do believe that she will be an angel for her family.

Dear Sue, Debbie, Barbara and families,
Our deepest sympathy to all of you in the loss of your mother and everyone's beloved Mema. We met her in 1974 at Sue and Bruce's wedding. What a fun and loving lady. She will always be remembered fondly. Our prayers are with you and her granchildren who adored her: Jon, David, Laura, their spouses and cousins.

Our lives were so entwined many years ago. She is/was always in my heart - I named my daughter after Pat. Her Barbie was my mom's first "grandchild." My heart is there for all of you.
