Patricia Kenning Obituary

Patricia J. Kenning, 82, of Lemont, formerly a 78 year resident of Cicero passed away May 12, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet. Visitation Thursday, May 17th, 3-9 p.m. at Suburban Family Funeral Home, 5940 W. 35th Street, Cicero. Funeral Friday, May 18th, from funeral home to Our Lady of Charity Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Mrs. Kenning was a retired R.N. She worked at the John J. Madden Health Center in Maywood. She was a member of the IL Nurse's Association, St. Mary of Nazareth Alumni Association, Our Lady of Charity Tabernacle Society and Friendship Club and a Girl Scout leader. She attended St. Mary of Czestochowa, Woodbine Schools and Morton High School. Mrs. Kenning loved to travel, liked crafts and was a Civil War and President Lincoln enthusiast. Mother of Mary Ann (Terry) Murphy and Joseph (Stephanie Hughes) Zaremba; step-mother of the late Judy Kenning; grandmother of 1; great-grandmother of 2.
