Norma Dode Obituary
Norma A. Dode, age 90, died Saturday February 25, 2017 at her home. A 60 year resident of Downers Grove, IL.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Dode; a daughter, Jeanette L. Dode; and a grandson, Michael J. Tipler.
Survived by her children, Barbara Silvernail, Robert A. ( Jean ) Dode, and Dawn Kaegebein; Grandmother of Kerry ( Patrick ) Blair, Amanda Kaegebein, Collin B. Kaegebein; Great-Grandmother of Austin and Morgan Richards, and Olivia Kaegebein.
Norma enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, knitting, and crocheting and numerous other interests.
Funeral Services will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church 5211 Carpenter Street Downers Grove, IL 60515 at 10:00am, visitation at the Church, 9:30am until services. Interment Fairview Memorial Park Northlake, IL. Visitation at Toon Funeral Home 4920 Main St. Downers Grove, IL 3:00 to 8:00pm Thursday, March 2, 2017.
Memorials to the Church or West Suburban Humane Society 1901 W. Ogden Avenue Downers Grove, IL 60515 www.wshs-dg.org/ would be appreciated.
