DR. NORBERT J. NOWICKI Dr. Norbert J. Nowicki, age 83, of Western Springs, Illinois, beloved husband of Virginia nee Breed, loving father of David (late Jeanne) Nowicki, Stephen Nowicki, and Elizabeth "Lisa " Smith, dear grandfather of Matthew, Audrey and Allison Smith, and Eric and Alina Nowicki. Norbert was a respected and accomplished physician, who dedicated more than 40 years to Rush University Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, caring, and service. Visitation, Wednesday, 5:00pm to 9:00pm, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral prayers, Thursday, 9:15am, from the funeral home to St. John of the Cross Church, for Mass at 9:45am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Adventist St. Thomas Hospice, PO Box 130, Hinsdale, Illinois, 60522. Funeral Info 708-352-6500.
