Hi Sweetheart,

Although you have been gone a few short weeks it seems like forever. I am still in shock over losing you. These have been the toughest days of my life since you have been gone.
But I have so much more I need to share with you so I am writing you again now.
I will never understand WHY??? Your life was cut short when it was only beginning. I'm trying to understand.
What does bring me great joy is to remember some of your last words you spoke to your family. You told them you were so happy and excited about our planned trip together and you felt GREAT!!
The one thing I do know is that I am the luckest person to have known you and to been able to share our lives together...
I wish to thank you for all precious moments, memories, the fun we had, the laughs and smiles we shared, I thank you for that crazy twinkle in yours eyes when I knew you were up to something; you brought me so much happiness but most of all I thank you for the love you gave to me.
It warms my heart to hear from and see all the wonderful people who loved you too!
My heartfelt thanks to your beloved parents Al and Sandy, your exceptional brother Jason and his family Candy, Jeremy and Jordan for making me a part of your wonderful family. I would also like to bless all our family members, our friends and coworkers that visited, prayed and shared with us and gave us support since your passing.
It is because each and everyone of you that Neil was the beautiful loving man we all had the pleasure to know and love.
Neil, I will carry your love in my heart and soul forever, I will always remember you in the the little signs you are sending me since you have been gone. But most of all you will live on in each and everyone one of us that knew you. You are in our memories and in our hearts. We are so lucky!!
We will carry on my love; I promise! We will be strong, because I know you wouldn't have it any other way.
I miss you but I pray that God will hold you in the palm of his hands... until we all meet again.
BE HAPPY MY BIG BOY!

All my love always,
Your dirty girl Sandy

Dear son,

I'm sorry it has taken me a week to write this, but it has been so hard these last few days.

Your mom and I are just in shock, our baby boy is gone and we don't know why?

You being the first born, you were our world, our joy, our very reason for living.
I'm so proud of you son,you grew up to be a caring, loving man.
For 39 years I watched my little baby, turn into a big boy, then a man. I just wish I had another 39 years.

I'll miss our trips to Harbor Freight, and our lunches, and I'll miss our talks about the Cubbies and Da Bears.
Most of all I'll miss the love I felt from you for 39 years.
You were always good at fixing things, wish you were here to fix this broken heart.
All my love baby boy~ DAD

I spent lots of time with Jason at the Jordan household in our younger days, and have good memories of Neil. Whenever I would see him he was always ready with a "Hey Dave", and usually a very funny comment. Sometimes our friend's older siblings wouldn't socialize with the younger guys, but Neil always treated me well. I am sad that I won't get to see him again, but I'm glad I did get to hang around him when he was here. My heart and thoughts go out to my friend Jason, Al, and Sandy.

Your friend,

Dave Ramos

I'm sorry to hear of your loss... I was only as close to Neil via his younger brother Jason (my childhood best bud). Through the memory of a 13 year old, I remember him picking on the both of us quite a bit and throwing me in the pool with all my clothes on, good times... Mostly, I'll remember his confidence, and his ability to be a fighter & lover with the world... I really feel for the family, in paticular Mr & Mrs J and my long lost friend Jason... Love,

To my dearest love and best friend how do I ever say goodbye when our life together was just starting. I don't know why you were called home to him so soon but I will miss you forever until we meet again. I Love You my big boy.

My condolences to Al and Sandy and Jason. I spent a great deal of my life with Neil, from playing sports, to working with him at Brown's Chicken, shooting with him and his family in Arkansas, etc. I could go on and on, but I believe some of our missions are still classified... :)

I hadn't talked to Neil in a while, so for to say I will miss him is kind of redundant, because I already did. Neil died on the same day as my younger brother Mark, back in 1996. I will think of them both around this time with the fondest of memories in my heart.
