Nancy J. Welsh

Nancy J. Welsh, nee Joblecki, age 80, passed on November 17, to be joyfully reunited in heaven with parents, Frank and Johanna (Skrocki) Joblecki and her loving husband of 54 years, Thomas L Welsh.

She is survived by children, Patrick, Margaret, Luke (Jane); grandson, Ian; sister, Marilyn Lee; dear Cousin, Richard Skrocki; sister-in-law, Diane Dudley; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and their children.

Nancy grew up in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago where her father Frank "Murph" Joblecki was President of the Washington Heights Boosters social club for many years. She attended nurses training at St. Francis School of Nursing, Evanston, and served faithfully as an RN at Little Company of Mary in Evergreen Park, the Visiting Nurse Association on Chicago's South Side with her longest professional association at Loyola University Hospital Maywood. Nancy raised her family in the Orchard Brook neighborhood of Downers Grove, Illinois. After retiring to Florida, she volunteered at medical and dental offices in Naples and Fort Myers, serving the underprivileged.

Services will be held at the Mount Carmel Chapel at St Patricks Residence Naperville 1400 Brookdale Rd. Naperville, IL on Saturday, December 12, with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. and memorial mass at 10:00 a.m. Private Inurnment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to St Patricks Residence. 630-416-6565
