Nancy L. Potokar Tucci, 73. Born July 10, 1942, in Lyons, IL to Walter and Lorraine Potokar. Died peacefully November 17, 2015, after a 2 year struggle with lymphoma, with family at her side in San Diego, CA.
She is survived by her dear husband, Leonard (Mick) Tucci; daughter, Yolanda Tucci McCollom and son-in-law, Patrick McCollom; stepchildren, Michael Tucci and Tina Tucci Brennan; two loving sisters, Patricia Potokar (Brennan) Petrucci (Ron) and Marilyn Potokar Scott (Elliott) and families; and 8 adoring grandchildren, Maggie, Nicholas, Camryn, Max, Jacqueline, Ian, Madeline, and Mia.
The list of those who mourn her is long, as she was considered a saint to most who knew her. To her saintliness one can add many other redeeming qualities including beauty inside and out, humor, wit, intellect, curiosity, generosity, creativity, humility and lovingness. She made wonderful homes for her family in Lyons & Hinsdale, IL, Craig, CO, and Boca Raton, FL. Seldom does one person directly touch the lives of so many.
