Dear Barbara, Pam, Bobby, Jim and Tom,
I can't imagine the sorrow that you must feel in losing your beloved Nancy. The fond memories from childhood seem so near - Nancy and Mimi being the bosses of Grandma and Grandpa's brood of kids. The rest of us taking our places in the long line of grandchildren - scrambling for attention from Nanny playing bunco or doing jigsaw puzzles. Easter egg hunts in their backyard. Hair washing in Grandma's kitchen sink. But for me, the Olsons backyard pool was the highlight of our visits to Maywood/Bellwood. Fun, fun, fun.
I know you must be proud of Nancy for raising her own brood of wonderful children and grandchildren and I am so, so sorry for their loss. She was so proud of them, as Dorothy was of her.
I wish that I could be there to help celebrate her life. Please know that I am thinking of you all.
