I can't say goodbye, just until I see you again nanc.I met nanc in "97" a few months before the passing of my father, she was such an encouragement to me at such a hard time in my life. A inspiration to me and tutored my son and encouraged me to pursue my college goals. She was so intelligent, loving and unselfish and loved by so many. I remmber how she would try to teach me how to play bridge and I don't think there is a more loyal Gator fan than she was-(Go Gators!) Nanc became like a second mother to me over the years, I am still trying to make potato soup as good as she did but, don't think I ever will be able to.She was a speacial angel god sent to touch many lives and she touched many. She was like a mother and grama to many. She only deserved the best, Her and dan are together again so I know she is happy. How do you let go of someone you love so much? I will miss you're hugs and smiles nanc. I am sending you a hug to remind you how much I love you-my prayers go out to all the family.

My condolences to those who knew and loved Nancy--what a wonderful person she was to all of us! God truly has added a beautiful lily to his valley. I can just hear that deep laughter resonating in my ears now as I recall the joking and poking that we were so often doing. I am sure Nancy is walking is our Lord in a much more comfortable place.

I was sorry to read of Nancy's passing. When I worked with her at the Dept.of Labor where she was kind and patient with me. I have many memories of those times. One story that I tell often is that Nancy would always have butter pecan ice cream and a Tab soda for afternoon breaks, and always refreshing that lipstick! (smile). She will truly be missed by her friends and family. May God welcome her into heaven.

Nancy was truly a very, special lady. She was polished, and bright, and warm, and down to earth all at the same time. She will truly be missed, but I know she's with her true love, Danny now. I will keep her family in my prayers and know their memories of her and Dan will keep them warm for days to come. I was truly blessed to have been able to call her a friend. Pamela Parks

Not many days ago, I spoke with Nancy regarding the death of Mr. Louis Williams, one of her former employees. I never gave any thought to this being the last time I would speak with her. I started working for Nancy at the Employment Office two hours a day, my senior year in high school through the CETA program. Nancy was instrumental in shaping my career path in public service. Nancy truly loved and cared for her staff and we all loved her. She will be greatly missed.

It's so hard to say goodbye to a dear friend whom I will miss very much. Nancy hired me when I was 17 years old to work at the Employment Service. Over the years she has been my mentor as well as a second mother to me and my sister Marcy. I loved Nancy and know that she will be missed and remembered by everyone who knew her - she was a great lady.

It was a joy to work with her at the Department of Labor and learn from her experiences. She certainly served her community well. Additionally she was an expert in utilizing her local community leaders to execute whatever new task thrust upon her Region.

David called with the sad news of Nancy's passing. I knew Nancy best as a vivacious and full of energy teen-ager. She and I would pass each other in and out of the principal's office and exchange smiles. Thank you for remembering good days--we will no doubt pass each other again someday. My deepest sympathy to the family at this time of sorrow. I remember Nancy McCurdy as she was my Regional Manager for many years. It was great working under her direction. She was, and will always be, an important person to me as she ordered me, as my Regional Manager, to go through heart surgery as ordered by my doctor back in 1987. I know she is very happy being in the Lord's side.
