Millicent Lacey Obituary

Millicent Middleton Lacey 1921 ~ 2006 Millicent Middleton Lacey died on October 29th in Salt Lake City. She was born on January 3, 1921 in Hooper, Utah to Wilford Woodruff Middleton and Josephine Cullum Middleton. She married John H. Lacey on November 11, 1949, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She graduated from Salt Lake General Hospital in nursing in 1942 and worked as a registered nurse for 48 years. She was loved and respected by those who knew and worked with her. Active member of the LDS church and served faithfully in many callings. She was generous and caring and loved gardening, cooking and sports. She is survived by her brother Claude, children, James N. (Luanne), Renee (Guy), Sharon (Wayne), 8 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John, brother Vern, and sisters Vera and Melba. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior to services at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive.
