Mildred Kemp Obituary

Mildred M. Kemp 1916-2010 VERNON Mildred M. Kemp, 94, of Vernon, died peacefully on Sunday October 31, 2010 at the Vernon Green Nursing Home in Vernon. She was born on July 9, 1916 the daughter of the late Albert and Elsie (Corbin) Mayberry in Greenfield, Mass. Mildred worked for many years as a journeyman proofreader for the American Book- Stratford Press. Her hobbies included painting, photography and traveling. She will always be remembered for her kindness and treasured by her family. Mrs. Kemp is survived by two sons Donald Kemp of Conn., Ralph Haley of Brattleboro, five daughters Dale Emery of Dummerston, Linda Gouin, Diana Senecal and Roxanne Streeter all of Hinsdale N.H. and Rebecca Replenski of Putney, sixteen grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE: A private graveside service for Mrs. Kemp will be on Friday November 5, 2010 at the Freidsam Cemetery in Chesterfield, N.H. Calling hours will be private in accordance with her wishes. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Research associations of Vermont at 300 Cornerstone Drive, Suite 120, Williston, VT 05495 or New Hampshire @5 Bedford Farms Drive, Suite 201 Bedford, NH 03110-6524. Arrangements are under the care of the KER WESTERLUND FUNERAL HOME 57 High St. Brattleboro, VT 05301.

I took care of Millie at Vernon Green, and I worked with her daughter Diny at Wal-Mart. Millie was my favorite resident and I will miss her dearly. I am very sorry for your loss.
