Michelle Suzanne Kutis, also known as Mickey, of Stickney, formerly of Cicero, passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 68 in Berwyn. She was born on July 15, 1955, in Chicago, IL, to Jeannette Salutric (Martell) and Bernard Salutric.
Michelle was a remarkable woman who epitomized love, care, and commitment. She served as a second mother to her entire family and friends, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. Michelle's genuine compassion and empathy endeared her to everyone she met. As the matriarch of her family, she set the foundation and exemplified the true meaning of family. Her legacy will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.
Michelle is survived by her loving husband, Joseph A Kutis, her son, Joseph B Kutis (Rebecca), her daughter, Kim Gronvold (Chris), her grandchildren, Nicholas Kutis (Brittany) and Jacob Kaminski, Kailyi Gronvold, Vanessa Tapia, and Tayia Tapia, and her great-granddaughters, Paislee Kutis and Adalynn Zwiebel. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Salutric, and her sister, Maria Chase and Maureen Paige.
A celebration of Michelle's life will be held in late spring/early summer to honor her memory. The ceremony details will be announced closer to the date.
