Michele Larsen Obituary
Michele (Missy) Holcomb Larsen, 39, died Saturday, September 19, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Matt Larsen; her children, Kyle (17), Christian (13), and Lauryn (11); her parents, Carolyn (Ed) Mikan and Phil (Anne) Holcomb; step-sister, Jackie Mikan; in-laws, Helen and Bob Larsen; grandparents, Dolores and Ray Abramowicz; brother-in-law, Greg (Sara) Larsen; two nieces and one nephew. She also leaves many grieving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Missy was well known in her community through her work with Boy Scouts, volunteering at Forest Glen School, and civic involvement, which included her position as Corresponding Secretary of the DuPage County Democratic Organization.
A non-denominational memorial celebration of Missy's life will be held Friday, September 25, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Glen Ellyn, 424 Forest Ave, Glen Ellyn, IL.

It will be a year this week since you have left. I am truly sorry I did not attend your good bye but its probably for the best. Your loving and warm smile is in your children to never be forgotten. I know you are in a beautiful place my Dear friend and watch over those sweet loving children. You did a great job they are outstanding!
