Michael Yerkovich Obituary

Micheal T. Yerkovich Jr., 68, of Sandwich, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 14, 2011 at his residence in Sandwich. He was born August 22, 1942 in Evergreen Park, IL the son of Micheal and Rose (Vukovich) Yerkovich. He married Kathie Mann on September 9, 1978 in Maywood, IL. He was a member of Downers Grove Sportsman's Club where he shot skeet and also a member of the American Legion. His favorite place to be was at their cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Kathie of Sandwich; one brother, Timothy Yerkovich of Davie, FL; mother-in-law, Shirley Mann of Sandwich; one brother-in-law, Dave (Sharen) Mann of Sandwich; one sister-in-law, Melissa Mann of Sandwich; and three nieces and eight nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister-in-law, Kim Yerkovich and one niece, Molly Vidito. Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, April 18, 2011 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL with Reverend Andrew Hougan officiating. Visitation was from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service on Monday, April 18, 2011 at the funeral home in Somonauk.
