Michael Allen Van Treese, age 68; U.S. Army Veteran, Paratroops 101 from 1963-1966; beloved husband of the late Phyllis A. Van Treese, nee Rouse; loving father of Wayne (Tracy) Van Treese, Brandee (Don) Hinkle and Troy (Kimberly Atkins) Van Treese; cherished grandfather of Brandon Bates and Brianna (Eric) Luebchow, Kyle Hinkle, Nicholas and Tessa Van Treese, Ashlynn, Hunter and Kellan Akiyoshi; dear son of the late Edward L. and Marie Rose Vantreese, nee Witt; fond brother of Pat (Glenn) Ulery, Arletta "Kay" Bench, Christine (Jim) Gatewood, Daniel (Linda) Vantreese and the late Baby Edward, Pauline Gibson, July Evans, James Vantreese, Eugene Vantreese and Loren Vantreese.
Michael was born in Geneva, Illinois, and grew up in West Chicago, Illinois.
Visitation Saturday, August 23, 2014, from 11:30AM until time of Service 1:30PM at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St. (1 blk. S. of Ogden) Downers Grove. Interment Private.
