Bill and I are deeply saddened to learn of Michael's death. After working together in Arabia for several years, Michael and Bill reunited in NY, in Beulah, ND when Michael was working in the area and one last time in Naperville. Many nights were spent listening to his music, cooking, drinking a cocktail or two and enjoying company of new-found friends. We will cherish those times and the memories. The Monkey Princess, Michael's name for our daughter, thought the world of him. Fly high, Michael. Our lives are better for you having been a part of them.

My sincere condolences to Michael's family. I knew Mike from the 4th to 9th grade in New York, Boy Scouts together as well. Yes, always reading a book that was not elementary school level; I'm not surprised he earned a degree in Literature. He hitchhiked to Ohio to see me after high school, along with M.S. I'm so sorry we lost touch; We should have been friends. I have many memories... Jim Hatch, Cinn, Ohio.
