Not sure what to say?

Sharon D'Andrea

January 13, 2019

I recently learned of Mr. Bruno's passing. It saddens me to learn another outstanding gentleman has left us. When I say "gentleman" I mean it in the finest sense of the word-- a classy, kind, and warmhearted man. This is a rare and beautiful gift that I understand well because my own beloved father Nick D'Andrea was such a man. He and Mr. Bruno thought quite highly of one another. I just felt compelled to send my condolences to Mr. Bruno's family even though I am more than a year late. Rest in peace Mr. Bruno (also lovingly known in our family as my Uncle Jerry Santoro's "very good friend"). My uncle would never introduce Mr. Bruno as "Mike". He'd simply smile and state. "This is my very good friend..."

Sir, may your children and grandchildren find comfort in knowing their loved one was respected and appreciated as a decent, compassionate, and outstanding professional-- and an all around good guy!

Very sincerely, Sharon D'Andrea.

So sorry for the loss of this great man and my Godfather. I just heard of Mike's passing recently and apologize for not paying my respects in person. He always made me feel special growing up. The friendship he and Gloria shared with my parents spanned decades. Over the years he made saying goodbye to our loved ones much easier, and for that I will always be forever grateful. This world will indeed feel his absence.

Kids, it has taken this long to send a message
First I couldn't attend Saturday because I have been very ill in the hospital 2x in the convalescent home 2x for weeks and weeks. So Saturday I said prayers here for ur dad.
Your dad was always so special to me and my family. His kindness and professionalism during tragic times was always so heartfelt. Then your parents friendship with my parents meant so much. I was blessed to know your dad both ways. Every time my parents were at your house my mother would come home saying I love their house it is so warm and inviting. Just like them. I will miss your dad like crazy if it's not at a wake it is out at a restaurant.
You kids were so lucky to have a dad like yours, I know how hard it will b in the future without him but he will be watching over u waiting to ask what do u know? All my love and hugs,
Pam

Rich and family,

Very sad to hear of the passing of your dad. I will never forget the caring and genuine person he was, for I met him during the toughest time of my life. Your dad, "Mike", since he wouldn't let me call him Mr Bruno, has and will hold a permanent place in my heart. Thanks for sharing your dad with me and my boys.

Dear Bruno Family,
Myself and my daughter, Charisse, are so sorry for your loss. I knew Mike since high school; he stood up at my wedding and in the good old days I helped him pick up some departed souls. We went our separate ways, but kept in touch during the years and he was always there in times of loss for my family, especially, my wife Angie, and also for those of my friends. I always thought he would be taking care of me when I died! He was very proud of his children and grandchildren, including his canine grandchildren. I won't be able to join you today, but you are in my thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace with Gloria beside him.

Our sincere condolences to the Bruno family. Mike was a wonderful person who performed a wonderful service for so many grieving families. He burried so many in our family; my father, my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. His brother Tony was best man at my parents' wedding in 1943. He will be missed by all who knew him.
