Meryl Kerr Obituary

Meryl M. Kerr nee Paygman, a resident of Glen Ellyn since 1963, passed away. Meryl was a long time member of the Glen Oak Country Club in Glen Ellyn where she was past president of the Women's Auxiliary Club. Her absolute pride and joy in life was her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late James R. Kerr; loving mother of Deborah (Loren) Kirk, Laurie Wisniewski (Michael Topp), Janie Kerr and Jim (Cathy) Kerr; dear grandmother of JohnPaul (Alison) and Patrick Drews, Bethany and Brianna Kirk, Marty and Garrett Wisniewski and Michael and Brandon Topp; great-grandmother of Hunter and Emma Jean Drews. Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, September 10, 2011 9:30am until time of funeral service 1pm at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. Interment will be private. Donations to the Cancer Institute at the Alexian Brothers Health System, 3040 Salt Creek Lane, Arlington Heights, IL 60005 would be appreciated. I am sad that she did not get to visit me this summer as we
had planned....but we had fun talking about the fun times we
would have...Dear Meryl left me with happy memories and a
comforter that she trimmed herself while at our Lake House.
I will hug myself with it when ever I think of her being at peace
in Heaven
