Maxine Carroll Obituary

CARROLL Maxine Boone Carroll 1-08-1935 - 9-26-2009 A native of Monroe County and a longtime resident of the Mobile area passed away after a brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by all of her loved ones in her home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Richard A. Carroll, Jr. and by their daughter Susan Stuart. Her family survivors are a daughter Sandra Carroll; granddaughters, Tiffany Huntley and Ashley Stuart of Gulf Shores and a handsome great grandson Dylan Reed. Siblings, Charmun (Vic) Zellers, John (Carolyn) Boone, Charles (Nell) Boone of Walland, TN. We all will miss her loving wit and her wonderful way of expressing herself. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. We as a family are at peace with the thoughts of her being reunited with her loving husband. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
