Maryann Wayland Obituary

Maryann Wayland, nee Macy. Beloved mother and wife, Maryann Macy Wayland passed onto Heaven on November 20, 2011. She was born in New Jersey on July 4th 1938. She lived in New Jersey for half her life until moving to Glen Ellyn in 1976. She later resided in Wheaton and Winfield joining many tennis, bridge and gardening clubs. She divided her life between volunteering and her passion for social work. She was beloved wife of Ewing "Tate" Wayland for 26 years. She loved her two children, Theodore R. McCullough and Sheila McCullough Faber. She was a proud grandmother to Caitlin, Jacqui and Charlie. Her closest friend was her sister, Mimi Stevenson of Hilton Head, South Carolina. She was a fond aunt to Courtney, David and Kim. Her life will be celebrated with friends and family to gather on Saturday, December 3rd 12 pm service with reception following. To be held at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, 715 N. Carlton Ave, Wheaton, IL. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Metropolitan Family Services or the Morton Arboretum.
