Mary "Faye" Smith
Mary "Faye" Smith, age 83, of Navarre, OH, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, in her home. Born in Russeville, AR, May 4, 1923, to her parents the late Maynard and Martha Carolyn Reid. Mary was a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with family and friends, and was a member of Massillon Baptist Temple. She is survived by her husband, Roy Smith of Navarre; six daughters: Betty (Larry) Durben of Brewster, OH, Retta Smith of Navarre, OH, Nancy (Doyle) Phillips of Orrville, OH, Jessie (Larry) Dampier of Canton, OH, Teresa Mays of Baytown, TX and Martha (Lewis) Garcia of Baytown, TX; two sons, James (Donna) Smith of New London, OH and Don (Beth) Smith of Navarre, OH; sister, Rena Sue Nixon of Maynard, TX; 21 grandchildren and 41 great- grandchildren also survive her. She is also preceded in death by a son, John M. Smith; daughter, Amy Florance Smith; one sister and three brothers who include Wayne Reid and Bennett Reid. The calling hour will be held one hour before the service on Friday, (TODAY), April 27th., from 3-4 p.m. with Service to be held at 4 p.m. in the Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, WV, with Rev. Clarice Daniel-Smith of Upperglade, WV officiating. Burial in the Smith Farm Cemetery, Upperglade, WV.
