My thoughts and prayers are with the Rotunnos and their extended family. Mrs. Rotunno was our next door neighbor as her kids and our family's kids all grew up together. She was as warm as the sun to us, always good for a cookie, and really never scolded us as much as she should when we climbed her trees or snuck out at night...
She was a wonderful best friend to my mom, and for that I am so thankful to her.
She will be remembered fondly for a long time.
