Mary Paulius Obituary
Mary N. Paulius, age 75, of Metropolis, Illinois, formerly of La Grange, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at the Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ms. Paulius attended Bradley University in Peoria and was a member of St. Helena's Episcopal Church in Burr Ridge. Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother and owned Prudy's Trinkets and Treasures in Metropolis for several years.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Molly Cole and husband, Randy of Metropolis; son, Karl Paulius of Indianapolis, IN; brother, Ira Richard Jones and wife, Tammy of North Carolina; 4 grandchildren, Julie Durrett and husband, Brian of Kentucky, Emily Casper of Metropolis, Kyle and Riley Paulius of Indianapolis, IN; and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira Richard and Emily Newell (Allen) Jones; and 2 sons, Kurt and Chuck Paulius.

I miss you dearly Prudy.......You were such a caring, loving , nosey neighbor (in a good way)....We shared the same favorite color.I will always have purple flowers of some kind in my yard..Rest in peace my dear friend..
