Leon, Hazel and Dave,
I want you to know that you are in my prayers as you learn to adjust to life without Katie. The coming days will not be easy, but God will provide the strength you need.
A few of my memories I would like to share with you about Katie. While I was growing up I loved to come to your house as Katie always kept chocolate out and of course, I ate my share! I remember Katie was alway laughing and never spoke negatively of our crazy family members. I do remember her always nibbling on chicken bones after one of Mom's Sunday dinners. I still don't know what kept her from choking on them.
I am so glad I visited with all of you in May and was able to spend time with Katie and all of you.
I am sorry I will not be at Katie's funeral but she will be in my thoughts and prayers. I love you guys and hope to visit you later this fall.

Glen, Hazel and David.
Words cann't express the loss you have suffered. Katy will be missed by many. Just know that she will always be with you in your heart. She is in a place where there is no more suffering or pain. She will be watching from different eyes. Your love and memories will keep her alive in you lives.
Katy was always there when you needed someone. Always willing to give a smile or hand when needed. She was active in the Eastern Star. And believe me the chapter room will not be the same without her little southern voice. The Eastern Star will not shine as bright without her there.
May the love of God and your friends comfort you in this time of sorrow. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.
Katy will be missed.
With my deepest condolences:
Terry and Sue Alsip.
