Mary Elizabeth Albright (Partridge), of Downers Grove & Woodridge Illinois. Mary was "born in a barn" on July 8, 1915, at her childhood home, Elmwood Farm on Mud Creek, Cornell, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Albright; parents, William F. and Ada B. Partridge; and sisters, Charlotte, Harriet and Ruth.

A devoted wife and mother raising her children in Downers Grove Illinois, Mary is survived by her loving children, James, Richard and Charlotte; and grandchildren, James, Laura, Matthew, Richard, Sean, Justin and their families; and the fond families of her sisters and cousins.

Mom had been member of several patriotic organizations including The Daughters of The American Revolution (Honorary Regent; Emeritus), Women Descendants of Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company, Daughters of Founders and Patriots of America, New England Women, and Daughters of Colonial Wars and others. For many years, she served as tour guide for the Downers Grove Historical Society Museum. She had been a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Downers Grove and Cornell Baptist Church and was Valedictorian of her graduating class of 30 at Cornell High School in 1933. Her early education was in a one-room schoolhouse a mile from the farm, taught by her sister, Harriet, and she once wrote a story about this traditional country school.

Graveside memorial services for Mary will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014, at the Cornell, Illinois Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Family Kitchen, Pontiac Illinois.
