LUKING, Martha 99, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Friday December 3, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center, Springfield, Ohio. She was born October 24, 1905 in St. Paris, Ohio the daughter of the late, Fletcher and Lois (Clem) Faulkner. She was a member of the St. Paris United Methodist Church and actively attended the New Carlisle United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son William and Bettie Luking of Lincolnton, Georgia; a daughter, Nancy Burroughs of St. Paris; six grandchildren, Jeffrey and Diane Burroughs, Gregory Burroughs, Holly and Michael Phelps, Dr. Stephen and Sara Luking, Dr. Scott and Elizabeth Luking, Lisa and Bill Shriver; 10 great grandchildren; Bill, Caroline and Isabelle Burroughs, David and Andy Phelps, Melinda and Forrest Luking, Mary and Anna Luking, Ashley and Christie Shriver; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Luking; a son-in-law, Allen Burroughs. Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday December 6, 2004 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN & CHRISTMAS FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with Rev. Jeff Burdsall officiating. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris, Ohio. Visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
