Mark Netrefa Born: March 7, 1962; Elmhurst, IL Died: Nov. 22, 2013 ; Sandwich, IL Mark Russell Netrefa, age 51, of Somonauk, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Sandwich Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Sandwich. He was born on March 7, 1962 in Elmhurst,the son of Russell James and Diane (Fox) Netrefa. Mark was employed, for many years, as chef in several country clubs and restaurants in the western suburbs. Most recently working with the family business, Metro Amusements in Streator, Illinois. He was a loving son, father, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, ' Diane Shroyer of Sandwich; his sons, Cory Netrefa and Justin Netrefa, both of Bolingbrook; his grandchild, Bailey Netrefa; his sisters, Liane (Mike) Maag of Brigantine, New Jersey, Donna Lewanski of Somonauk, Janet Netrefa-Bradley of Downers Grove, and Laura (Jim) Zapata of San Diego, California; his step-sister-in-law, Lynn Shroyer; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Netrefa; his step-father, Ray Shroyer; and his step-brother, Joe Shroyer. Funeral Services were held at 5:30 PM on Monday, November 25, 2013 at the Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory, 1275 S. Countyline Rd., Sandwich, IL. Interment was private.
