Mark Kleinwachter Obituary

Mark Eric Kleinwachter, age 69, went to meet his Lord on Monday January 30, 2012 at approximately 5 p.m. His passing was due to an auto accident during which he was killed instantly. He was preceded in death by his parents Eric and Muriel Kleinwachter in 1969 and 2007 respectively. Loving husband of Barbara; proud father of Brian, Jody and Eric; adoring grandfather to Maddison & Blake and McKailey & Tanner; fond brother of Gregg, Gail and Margot. Mark was a U.S. Navy veteran, a journeyman butcher for Jewel Foods, from which he retired after 27 years to start his work life anew as an entrepreneur doing what he loved and was very knowledgeable of, buying and selling antiques. Through his hard work and tireless dedication along side his wife Barbara, they built a very successful business, "Old Glory Antiques" and also aided their children in the building and success of their business. When Mark would allow himself time away from his work, he enjoyed big game hunting, taking trophies in many parts of the world. He also enjoyed vacationing with his wife and children a visiting his many friends across the country. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Lookout Mountain Community Church, 534 Commons Dr., Golden, Co 80401 at 11 a.m. Saturday February 25, 2012.
