Dear Karen, Jenee, and Miara. Please accept my belated condolences on your deep loss. I was able to get to know Mark very well in the 4-5 years all of you lived across the street in LGP. He was a great man. He asserted mentoring boys from Ireland every summer & would drop everything to help anyone in need, a,k.a., he was neighbor that all of us hope to have when we move into a home (ecspecially the block parties!). His devout fatherly love of Jenee and Miara was obvious on a daily basis (even the St. Pat's parade, remember!) and hope that remains in all three of you throughout your life. I wish all of you the best in the future for I know he is with you always. That's just him. Sincerely,
Kathleen Goodridge

Dear Karen, Jenee, and Miara --
My beloved Dad died just eighteen months ago, and I know how painful your loss is. I am adding my personal prayers to all the prayers being offered at Mark's funeral this morning. I enjoy thinking of Mark in a beautiful place with no more cancer.
With love and prayers,

My love and condolences to Karen and girls, and my cousins, Richard, Mary Jo and David. I will always remember his sunshine smile, hearty laugh and dry sense of humor. I hope the fond memories will help all to deal with your loss.

Even though I did not know Mark personally, I am sure that he was a wise and kind human being. The fact that he chose Karen to be a hugh part of his life and the attention he gave to his children leads me to believe so. God bless the entire Harkin family and his mother-in-law, Barb, who gave so much of herself during the good and difficult times.

To Mark's family,
My condolences on your loss. I knew Mark since he 11 years old; he was a good brother to Dave, and a good grandson to the late Edna. God bless him and the entire Harkin family

Mark & I always joked about my being his favorite mother-in-law. I thank him for my awesome grandaughters & hope that my "being there" for him, Karen & his girls during his 4 yr fight with cancer gave him peace.

Mark always enjoyed a good laugh and loved being a Dad. I'm adding a photo of him and the girls that they helped me pick out this morning.
