Mark Crockatt Obituary

Mark Charles Crockatt born August 28, 1954 passed away on April 11, 2009 after his courageous battle with cancer. Mark was raised in Lombard by his mother Ivy, and has lived in West Chicago 30 years. He was a loving Father to Joshua and daughter Jessica, a caring Grandfather to Kyle and Madilyn, a loyal Brother to Sheri, Scott and Chuck, an inseparable buddy to Mikey and a great friend to many. He will be missed by all. Services were private. Arrangements by DuPage Cremations, Ltd. and Memorial Chapel 800-588-1132

It's hard to believe it's been six years now. I wish I could say it's gotten easier dad but I miss you as much today as the day we lost you. So many times I could have used some advice since then. Most times i think about the past or what you might have suggested and run with it. Sometime it seems to work others are epic failures but what else is new. You are very very missed by all. I wish you were here but I know you are watching over us, no longer in pain hanging with some of the other lost loved ones. So with those thoughts comes a little comfort at least. I love you thank you for all of those past words of wisdom. Thank you for helping give me the values and strength to be who I am. Thanks for teaching me how to be a decent loving father to my daughter. Without seeing your love for Jessi things would be much harder that I know for sure. I feel blessed to have had you in my life for the time I did. Always thinking about you man. Always missing you.
