Marjorie Amorese Obituary
Virginia Beach - Marjorie Nina Amorese, loving mother and wife went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 2, 2012. Marjorie was born in Pembroke Bermuda on June 16, 1924 and was 87 years old when she passed. She is predeceased in death by her devoted husband of 50 years, Vincent James Amorese and her grandson John Richard Amorese. She is survived by her six children sons Lloyd Amorese, Richard Amorese wife Susan, Arthur Amorese wife Rita, Michael Amorese wife Kathy, daughters Janice Amorese, Cindy Core husband George; grandchildren Jo Bybee, Heather Evans, Angela Elko, Jessica Morrison, Matthew Amorese, Chris Amorese, Lindsey Parker, Samantha Linkous, Vinny Core and 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The visitation will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home 5792 Greenwich road, Virginia Beach on Sunday June 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. The graveside service will be held at Rosewood Memorial Park 631 North Witchduck road, Virginia Beach on Monday, June 11, at 11 a.m. The family will be holding a reception following the graveside at 5208 Tern road, Virginia Beach, VA 23455. Altmeyer Funeral Home, Southside Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.altmeyer.com
