Marion Tansley Obituary

Marion L. Tansley, age 93, a resident of Glen Ellyn for 75-years, passed away May 17th, 2011. Marion was born in Chicago, IL. She was a manager in electronic company. Marion was a long time member of the Catholic daughters of America. She enjoyed crafts, dancing, banking, knitting & crocheting and liked spending summers at her north woods cabin. Mother of Mary Ann (late Don) Mitchell, Katheryn M. Tansley, David H., Carol A. (Robert) Blair & Thomas (Claire); grandmother of Gloria, Christopher, Samantha, Marsha, Michael, Matthew & Shelly: great-grandmother of 6. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry A., sister Grace & brother Albert. Visitation held Friday, May 20th from 10 am till time of mass at 11 AM at St. Petronille Church, 420 Glenwood Ave, Glen Ellyn. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
