To the Capecci Family:
I read about the passing of Mario in the recent issue of Fra Noi. I was really sorry to read about Mario. I remember him well from our days at Bloom High School in Chicago Heights and our college days at Northern Illinois University. We were both in the Field of Education and our paths would cross frequently on the professional level. Mario was always outgoing, friendly and sincerely interested in how your family was doing and how things were going professionally. I always enjoyed our conversations. He was very positive and cared about his family, friends and all those that he was associated with. A wonderful person that will be missed. God Bless the Capecci Family.

Mrs. Capecci,
I am so sorry for your loss. Every time I was in Mario's room I could see and feel the great love and happiness you both had for each other. My prayers are with you and your family.
I'm sure you won't remember the my name, but I'm the respiratory therapist that Mario called "Smiley". It makes me smile remembering!

Dawn, your father was such a nice, warm and caring man. I feel so sorry for your loss. My family is still in Glen Ellyn (I'm in Denver) and they told me about your father. I wish you strength through these hard times and I'm sure you'll find comfort with your family. I've thought of you often over the years, we used to laugh so much when we were together - fond memories.

Mrs C, Dawn, Pam, John, Nancy -
I learned this morning of Mr C's passing. My heart goes out to you and your children, family and friends during this difficult time. I have such wonderful memories of your home, with Mr C at the helm, all those many years ago... where I first learned that some Italians drank milk with spaghetti! That was the first of many wonderful conversations I had with Mr C during those all-important early years (was Nancy even born then). Mr C will always have a place in my heart, right next to my own Mom and Dad.

Dearest Dawn and Capecci Family, my prayers goes out to you and yours. May peace and joy quickly find their way back into your hearts. I'll certainly raise a glass on the West Coast. Sharon Sachs (Dawn's friend)

Marion, Dawn, Pam, John and Nancy,
I am so very sorry for your loss - although my family only lived in Glen Ellyn for a short period of time Mario had a big impact on all of our family - he made us feel very welcome in a new city, made us laugh and even allowed Bill Grant and myself help in the making of some of his wine in your basement.
I will always remember Mario with fondness and a smile on my face. My prayers are with all of you during this very difficult time - I will keep you in my prayers.
God Bless.

I felt honored to know Mario when I first started teaching at East in 1966. He made everyone feel at home.
