Marie Parker Obituary

Retired Murray Biscuit Company AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Marie C. Parker age 87, entered into rest at St. Joseph Hospital on Wednesday February 28, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 3, 2007 in the Belair Rd. Chapel of Platt's Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Guy Campbell and Rev. Darien Spivey officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Survivors include, two sons, Lawton L. " Landon" James Jr. of Evans, John Edward " Eddie" James of Lawrenceville,GA . Two Brothers, Vernon Rikard of Waynesboro, Rev. Guy Campbell of Augusta, two sisters, Elizabeth Ray , and Thelma Utley both of Augusta. Five grandchildren, Vickie Johnson, Anita Blackmon, Lana Hopkins, Tonya Towhey and Karen King. Fourteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Parker retired from Murray Biscuit Company as a Packer, she was a member of South Augusta Pentecostal Church. Pallbearers will be, Tim Johnson, Rob Hopkins, Tommy Towhey, Lenny Rikard, Nathan Rikard and Trent Johnson.
