Marie Kozlowski Obituary

Marie V. Kozlowski, nee Tobias, 95, a 35-year resident of LaGrange, passed away May 17, 2008 at Manor Care Hinsdale Assisted Living. Marie was born September 18, 1912 in Chicago, IL. She was an assembler for Western Electric Hawthorn Works with 24 years of service. A visitation was held Monday, May 19th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Mass will be held Tuesday, May 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church in LaGrange. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. Marie is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Joseph) De La Van; Step-son, James Kozlowski of Indian Head Park; grandchildren, James (Evelyn) Proctor, Carol Decoteau, Deborah Allen and Russell (Mary Ann) Allen; great-grandchildren, Bennett and Matthew; God son, Toby Tobias; brother Theodore (the late Margaret) Tobias; sister, Estelle (the late Werner) Paterson and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Miles Kozlowski; daughter the late Marlene Weatherford; great-grandson, David; and two brothers, Joseph (the late Genevieve) Tobias and the late Eugene Tobias.
