Died: Oct. 13, 2014
Marian Vera Mansfield, 98, born July 16, 1916, in Pepin, WI, formerly of Glen Ellyn for 60 years, passed away on October 13, 2014.
Beloved wife of the late Alfred B. since December 24, 1937; loving mother of Allen, Tom (Pam), Karla (Ken) Morgan, Steve (Robin), Jeff (Kathy) and Ron; grandmother of 9; GiGi of 10; preceded in death by her 10 brothers and sisters.
She worked at Hesterman Bowl and her camping club memberships included Lazy Sams, Windy City Winnies and Spinning Wheels.
Visitation Thursday, October 16, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn. Funeral Service Friday, October 17, at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral home. Interment River Hills Cemetery in Batavia.
In lieu of flowers donations to Faith Lutheran Church 41 N Park Blvd. Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 and Mooseheart Child City and School, Mooseheart, IL 60539.

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your Grandma & GiGi!
I am sure we have met on her life journey! God has blessed you having her for 98 years! Much more then many who lost grandparents early. Like my girls they knew the grandma but not the grandfather of their dad! Although you grieve the loss but
remember to celebrate two things first and most important that if
we believe we will be reunited in heaven and secondly she us finally
reunited with her husband she lost long ago!
