Margaret Brinker Obituary

Margaret Ruby Brinker, age 91, passed away at her daughter's home in Ladysmith, Wisconsin on August 12th, 2012. Margaret was 91 years old and had lived most of her life in the Berwyn, Illinois area. She was a former resident of the Rusk County Nursing home in Ladysmith until earlier this year when she decided that she wanted to be home with family and friends. Margaret is survived by her daughter Eve (Evelyn) Schultz of Ladysmith, Wisconsin; stepson Lawrence Brinker of Barrington, Illinois; grandson Rick Lemonds, of Danbury, Wisconsin and granddaughters, Deborah Lemonds, of Custer, South Dakota and Leah L. Miller of Ladysmith, Wisconsin and many, many family members and friends. Margaret was proud to be the great-grandmother of 7 grandsons and granddaughters as well as the great-great-grandmother of 14 granddaughters and grandsons. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald and Henry Trepto, Evelyn's father Anton Spinka; her second husband, Lawrence C. Brinker; her sister Dorothy Bennett; her brother Louis Trepto, all former residents of Berwyn, Illinois. Grandson Blain A. Janik of Kenosha, Wisconsin and granddaughter Diane Lemonds of Hill City, South Dakota. Margaret's ashes will be interned in Custer, South Dakota along side her husband and next to the final resting place of her two grandchildren. Services for Margaret will be held at the First Congregational Church located at 34th and Gunderson Ave. in Berwyn, Illinois on September 15th at 11a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
