Marcella Foster Obituary

Marcella C. Foster, 87, a lifelong Brookfield resident, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at her home. Mass was held Friday, July 25, 2008 at St. Barbara Church in Brookfield. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Marcella was a homemaker. She attended St. Barbara Grade School in Brookfield until 1934 and graduated from Lyons Township High School in LaGrange in 1938. She enjoyed playing Bingo, doing crossword puzzles, reading and cooking. Marcella was also a member of St. Barbara Council of Catholic Women. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Carol), Gary (Ingrid) and Mark (Midge) Foster; daughters, Charmayne (Robert) Kriha, Dawn (Dennis) Reynolds, Kim (William) Elliot, Renee (Andrew) Lakis, Mary, Jeannette and Sandra Foster; her brother, Raymond Waligora; 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank O. Foster and her daughter, Cindy Sellers. Memorials to the Office of Pastoral Care, c/o St. Barbara Parish, 4008 S.
