Mae Love Obituary
Mae L. Love (nee Crowder), age 85, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at Plymouth Place Senior Living in LaGrange Park, IL.
Mrs. Love, formerly of Western Springs, IL, was the wife of the late James E. Love; the devoted mother of James R. (Jeanne) Love, Jerry (Julie) Love, Jeff (Amy) Love, Janet (the late Michael) Love-Moore and Joan (David) Lombardi; proud grandmother of 11; cherished great-grandmother of 9; dear sister of Earlene (Dale) Larson; caring aunt of Heather (Mike) Moore; great-aunt of 2.
Mae will be remembered for her love of her large family and the enjoyment of her many friends. Mae was a longtime and active member of the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs, singing in the choir and volunteering for many activities. Mae worked several years at the Mini-Lib preschool in Western Springs, IL.
A visitation with the family was held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 followed by a Memorial Service at the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs. Interment was private following the Memorial Service.
