Louise Renn Obituary

Louise Sophie Renn, nee Busching, age 100, of Brookfield/LaGrange, died May 12 at Lexington Health Care, Lombard, Illinois. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 15 from 4 to 9 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 South Main Street, Lombard. Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 16 with Mrs Renn Lying-In-State from 9:30 AM until Time of Service at 10:00 AM at St John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 47th and Brainard, LaGrange, Illinois. Interment will be at St John's Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Hodgkins, Illinois. Mrs Renn is survived by her daughter, Barbara L (Elwaine W. Sr.) Hardtke of Lombard; richly blessed with seven grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, Jason and Doug Hardtke, children of Elwaine, Jr. and Debbie (Heyman); Briana, Mark, Jr., Kristin, J. Mike and Trevor Hardtke, children of Mark and Cheryl (Rumsey); Mike, Allison and Katie Hansen, children of Barb and Russ; Kaitlyn, Jessica and Ryan Schefske, children of Christina and Al; Troy, Jr., Tyler, Danielle, Lauren and Mackenzie Huber, children of Marcia and Troy; Cole, Cade and Callie Hardtke, children of Wade and Tonia (Brewer); and Alex, Genna, Gabby and Sammy Walton, children of Tricia and Mark. Mrs. Renn is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin; her infant daughter; four brothers and 5 sisters. Mrs Renn was a resident of Lombard since 2001 and was formerly a resident of Brookfield 71 years. She grew up on the family farm in LaGrange. She had celebrated 71 years of marriage and had been married at the family farmhouse on Willow Springs Road. Mrs Renn was a member of St John's Ev. Lutheran Church in LaGrange for 97 years.
