Louis Samson Obituary

Louis Richard Samson, age 83, a resident of Cicero since 1966, passed away July 24, 2009 at home. Visitation was Sunday, July 26, from 2-9 p.m. at Svec & Sons Funeral Home, 6227 West Cermak Rd., Berwyn. Funeral was Monday, July 27, at 11 a.m. at Warren Park Presbyterian Church, 6130 West 21st St., Cicero. Interment in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. Mr. Samson was a retired machine operator from People's Gas Company where he was employed for many years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946. Mr. Samson was a member of the American Legion Post. He is survived by his children, Cynthia (Paul Chesna) Knight, Harriet Samson and Richard (Sheri) Samson; and grandchildren, Angela Knight, Samantha and Amber Buggele.
