Louis Ritter Obituary

Louis Edward Ritter, "Ed", 92 of Downers Grove, passed away August 12. Loving husband of Ruth (nee Jackson) for 69 years, devoted father of Bruce, and brother of Clifford and the late Norman. Mr. Ritter was a World War II veteran, having served in the United States Army Air Corps as a B-24 bomber pilot. He was retired from the General Services Administration of the U.S. Government as the Regional Property Disposal Chief. He was a member of the Westchester Masonic Lodge for over 50 years, and a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Downers Grove. Mr. Ritter was a Little League Umpire in Downers Grove for many years and a Pony League Manager for two years. The visitation was at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home in Downers Grove on Monday, August 16th and the Funeral was on Tuesday, August 17th. 630-968-1000 or www.adamswinterfieldsullivan.com
